At
AI York we were saddened to hear of the sudden death of our colleague Jill Pratt
this summer. Jill was a stalwart Amnesty member and a lifelong supporter and
advocate of human rights. She was also a good friend. Few who knew her will forget her subtle
humour, her loyalty and support. We were fortunate when she joined us here in
York after the death of her husband, Garth. Huddersfield’s loss was our gain.
Our best wishes have been sent to her family.
